Italská

Vinohrady, a Prague district that lives, where the city presents the most peaceful version of itself. Greenery and ease, and the Peace Square just around the corner! I was walking through there, searching, I knew I wanted another salon in this area, the same as the one in Dušní, with a similar ambience, and yet different, boutique, smaller; a classic salon as a living room. I knew exactly what I was looking for and what it should and would look like. I sat down in a charming Italian patisserie, ordered a coffee and thought what a fantastic place this would be! And yes, it was at that address, on that very chair I realised that if you are able to specify your wish and make an order, it must simply work out! Two weeks later, I got a phone call from my sister Veronika. She said we had found what we were looking for and asked me to come to a meeting at Italská 5 at five! Yes, Italská 5 is the patisserie and yes, five months later I opened THE SALON Libor Šula Italská in that very building!
A beautiful place with an amazing energy and an Italian ambience. At this moment, you’ll find a complete team of fantastic stylists there who need peace and quiet for their work and a space to accommodate the most demanding clients. We work exclusively with L’Oreal, ShuEmura and we also sell exclusively selected products, from hairdryers and hair straighteners to hairbands.
If you’d like to enjoy a fantastic service starting at the reception, through relaxing wash with a massage to a fantastic hair colour and precision cut, our Italská 5 salon is exactly the place you need!

What does working for Libor Šula The Salon mean to me?
To work for myself, that means permanent pressure from the management! I’m proud to be with people who respect my work and who feel confident next to me on a daily basis. The fact that I can consider my name a “brand” is basically a joint merit of all the people, whether they have only swept by or are the most important in my life and I can be, live, work… and breathe next to them.

What would I do if I weren’t a stylist
I would be a gardener. I have always loved the scent of rain. And I feel truly happy whenever I am in the woods or in the garden, digging in the dirt. That helps me become aware of what’s most important in my life. And thus I’m a professional stylist and an amateur gardener.

What does Libor think about himself?

“Libor should sometimes pause and look at himself. However, sometimes it’s better to ignore that :)”

What does working for Libor Šula The Salon mean to me?
Fulfilling my dream about work in a luxurious and high-quality environment with great background thanks to which we can provide our clients with services they deserve. I am glad that I can work in a team with such great people, colleagues and friends. Our job is not uneventful; there are many special events, shows, photographing and that makes it very exciting for me. My work is my life and I love my life!

What would I do if I weren’t a stylist?
That’s simple. I love cooking and baking so I would have a small bistro with home-made cuisine where I would cook for my friends.

What does Libor think about Klára?

“Strong-headed, professional, expressive. A person who can seize people’s attention as an avalanche.”

What does working for Libor Šula The Salon mean to me?
To me it represents a certain calmness, a wonderful team and the opportunity to go to work with joy. At the same time, it means maintaining professionalism and doing my work at more than 100%.

What would I do if I weren’t a stylist?

I like cooking so I could be a chef. I also like movies; I can see myself working at a film studio or as interior designer. I would definitely stay in the ‘art industry.’ But I also love working with animals; I can see myself in this line of business as well.

What does Libor think about David?

“His humility, self-confidence, insight, sharp judgment and the ability to tell the good from the bad completely disarmed me! He knew what he wanted and what he has to offer to my brand. Watching David at work is a concert. Slow movements, perfect parting; cuts and colours thought out to the very last detail, and highlights as if created by the sun itself. Nothing compares to knowing that David can take care of the most demanding clients without hesitation!”

What does working for Libor Šula The Salon mean to me?
One of my dreams come true. Not only do I learn new things every day and develop my creativity, but I also have lots of fun and meet many interesting people.

What would I do if I weren’t a stylist?
With regard to the fact that I can’t imagine doing any other profession that I would do with love and enthusiasm, I’d be most likely unemployed.

What does Libor think about Jana?

“Janička is a person I can rely on. Peace and comfort.”

Senior Stylist

What does working for Libor Šula The Salon mean to me?
Prestige, luxury and elegance.

What would I do if I weren’t a stylist?
I would definitely do something creative. I would be an illustrator, a confectioner or an architect. I was accepted to a school of arts but chose hairdressing instead. I create and build, so all my dreams have come true…

What does Libor think about Jana?

“Jana is an amazing woman. A fantastic mom of three, a beautiful and kind stylist.”

What does working for Libor Šula The Salon mean to me?
It’s a dream job. Security and happiness, freedom and self-realisation. Working in a luxurious, beautiful and peaceful environment. The salon ambience is especially important to me and this is simply my ‘happy place’ I love coming back to. I have to admit that this place taught to me believe in myself. A salon of such quality would not give a job to a bad stylist.

What would I do if I weren’t a stylist?
Most likely a dancer. But I’ve always wanted to be a stylist. I remember the times when I would colour my mom’s, grandmother’s or aunt’s hair and the hair colour was everywhere…

What does Libor think about Tomáš?

“His openness completely disarmed me. He was one of the first to ask what I expect from him so he could meet my expectations. A fantastic stylist with a good dose of self-confidence, an amazing service and absolute sense for the brand. At this moment, Tomáš is one of the best young stylists on the Czech scene.”

What does working for Libor Šula The Salon mean to me?
Working a team of experienced and pleasant people with an opportunity to develop my skills and learn new things from the best ones. I’m grateful for our cat king Libor who made a great impression on me at our first meeting, as to the humane and professional approach. I’m happy that I can be a part of Libor Šula The Salon.

What would I do if I weren’t a stylist?
I’ve never thought of another option because I’ve wanted to be a hair-stylist since I was a child. The second option I could maybe imagine would be an owner of an airship rental.

What does Libor think about Kristýna?

“Beautiful, humble and so witty! When I saw Kristýna doing someone’s hair, I remembered one iconic British hair-stylist who advised me: “Look at their hands. You can’t learn the feel and a hand is not a hoof!”… And that’s how Kristýna works.”

What does it mean for me to work under the Libor Šula The Salon brand?
It is an honour to work at Libor Šula The Salon, which is one of the most luxurious salons in Prague. Libor is a great inspiration to me, he is one of the best in the hairdressing industry and it is a great experience to work with him and his team. I love that there is always a great friendly atmosphere at the salon and you learn new things every day, which is very important to me. I like to follow new trends and move forward.

What would I be if I wasn’t a hairdresser?
I’m a lover of good coffee, and in my free time I like to go to coffee shops and discover new coffee places. So if I wasn’t doing hair, I’d have my own stylish cafe and I’d be making the best coffee far and wide.

What does working under the Libor Šula The Salon brand mean to me?
I really appreciate the fact that I was given the opportunity to work and learn in my field right here. It seems to me that I have found my place where they like me even for my mistakes. It’s more than work for me. Each of the colleagues has their own unique style and I am happy that these experiences can lead me to one day be the same professional as them.

What would I be if I wasn’t a hairdresser?
I always saw myself as more of a manager, but in the end I decided to go to hairdressing school, where we learned things that I enjoyed and didn’t enjoy. But when I did my first real highlights with Libor, I realized that I want to dedicate myself 100% to this profession!

What does working for Libor Šula The Salon mean to me?
Above all, a great opportunity and everyday supply of life experiences.

What would I do if I weren’t a receptionist?
I would love to have a small wine shop where I could learn about and taste wines.

What does Libor think about Markéta?

“When my sister Veronika called me that she had found the perfect receptionist after a dozen of interviews, I was pretty sure that it would be something. And it was! Beautiful, kind, caring, with a lot of life experience. Completely humble, incredibly flexible and tolerant.”

Veronika Blahnová

Recepce

What does working for Libor Šula The Salon mean to me?
I have experience from another prestigious hair salon and I’m glad I can compare. Not only am I excited about the colleagues who are great professionals in their field, but I also enjoy that we can have a good laugh together. The team is a priority to me, and this team is amazing!

What would I do if I weren’t a receptionist?
A kindergarten teacher.

What does Libor think about Veronika?

“I urgently needed a receptionist. And then SHE came! Kind, frank, discreet, non-jovial and humble. Veronika is great and it is amazing to hear clients say that we have a great receptionist at Italská!”
